Lunch yesterday was Ted’s Montana Grill, which surprised me on many counts. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was quite classy, and the service was everything I hope for but never get in a dining experience. Best of all, however, was that you can draw on the tables. ^_^
More Little Sketches! (Fish heads, face, Emilio, and a comb)
In similar fashion to this earlier post, I did some tiny sketches today in order to better fill the space in my cube. All are original, excepting the face, which is from Denis Loubet’s illustration.

If I were to redraw this, I would do many things differently. That’s the point of a warm up sketch though, isn’t it? That’s essentially all these are. There’s no time for a warm up, so they ARE the warm ups.
I think it’s high time for some more studies and from-life/from-photo drawings. I need to get back to working on my techniques. I think I’ve had enough original drawings for the short term.

I used to draw these guys all the time when I was younger. I have a whole universe/world in my head where these guys are some of the inhabitants. Oh well. Come for the video game drawings, stay for the weird ones. 😉
