Sometimes I’m confused by the things that come out of my pen. This is one of those things. I kind of imagine these guys swimming up to you and enthusiastically sniffing you, grinning the entire time. I have issues.

This is what came out of my pens today. I originally wanted to put some eyes on it but I didn’t draw them correctly so I just covered them up. I also wanted to make the landscape checkerboard colored, but the clock was ticking. *shrug*

Water Study – Rockwell Kent
I finished up Monday’s work in progress. It’s a study from my new Illustrations of Rockwell Kent Book The reference illustration is on page 102 of previously linked book, “The First Leg” from A Treasury of Sea Stories.
Oddly, when cropped like this, it looks to be much more of a mountainous landscape than rough waters. *shrug*
