Back to some more of Loubet’s work. I was particularly attracted to how graphic and strong this set of drawings was. I’m learning a tremendous amount about Loubet’s different styles from this project, I’m happy.

I wasn’t happy with yesterday’s sketch, but today’s was even worse. *shrug* Just not feeling it today for some reason. I think the pressure of having to sit, eat, and sketch in an hour window sometimes just doesn’t work so well when there are outside forces trying to make demands of that time.

Another food study. As you can see, I was fairly amused by the ambiguity of the images. The top right image was another of Denis Loubet’s from the Ultima game manuals. I did his version last so I could have more of my own feel on the first two.

I’d been thinking about drawing this guy for a while. I imagine he spends most of his time being rather bored. Actually, I imagine he spends most of his time making up dirty limericks, but that’s another drawing. π
